VICTORY CORNER

Earthjustice has made great strides in protecting public health and the environment. In the first successful case to join civil rights and environmental law, Earthjustice stopped the construction of a uranium-enrichment facility between two poor, predominantly African America communities in rural Louisiana. The facility would have produced thousands of tons of toxic, radioactive waste and threatened the area with contamination.

Through its Where We Live campaign, Earthjustice continues to make significant strides towards protecting public health.  Check out the latest victory in protecting clean air and water and read about our past success stories in the following features.
