CASE HIGHLIGHTS

Earthjustice’s Where We Live campaign uses the law to secure clean air, clean water, and public health protections on a local, national, and international level.

Public interest litigation is the most powerful tool we have for protecting people from toxic pollution. Government agencies responsible for enforcing environmental laws don’t always do their job due to political pressure from industry groups. The same pressures extend into the global arena when international institutions put profits before environmental and human rights protections.
